Accessibility Statement

K-Werbetechnik is actively working to make the website plotoniq.com and the web app plotoniq.app accessible in accordance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. Full conformance per the EU Accessibility Act (EAA) / German BFSG is ongoing, with quarterly updates.

Current Accessibility Status

This website is currently partially compliant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Measures already implemented:

  • Semantic HTML structure with ARIA landmarks (Navigation, Main, Footer)
  • Keyboard navigation with visible focus indicators
  • Skip navigation to main content
  • Language attribute (lang) on all pages, including RTL support
  • Respects reduced motion preference (prefers-reduced-motion)
  • Text scaling up to 200% without information loss
  • Windows High Contrast Mode support (forced-colors)
  • Form labels and autocomplete hints per WCAG 1.3.5
  • Screen reader announcements for status messages (role=status, aria-live)
  • Automated a11y tests via axe-core as part of QA

Known Limitations (as of 2026-04-17)

  • Some primary buttons currently use a brand color (Emerald-500) that does not meet the WCAG AA contrast ratio of 4.5:1 in all combinations. A brand-color update to Emerald-700 is in progress.
  • The Kanban view in the app uses HTML5 drag-and-drop without a full keyboard alternative. A fallback menu is planned (WCAG 2.1.1). Canvas-based signatures (delivery notes) are currently not screen-reader accessible — alternative confirmation methods will be provided by Q3/2026.

Technical Information

This website is built on Next.js and is continuously tested with axe-core and manual audits (keyboard, screen reader). Conformance is assessed by self-evaluation against BITV 2.0 / EN 301 549.
